For this game it is a fun idea to “set the scene” before you begin.  Choose one person to be “it”.  He will now be known as “The Hunter” everyone else will be a pride of tired lions.  

When the game begins, The Hunter will begin his quest to find an awake Lion.  He knows they are awake if they move, after all sleeping lions are very still.  All the lions will have 5 seconds to find a spot on the floor and once the game begins, their goal is to fool The Hunter into thinking they are sleeping by being as still as possible. 

The Hunter will move about the room looking for movement from any “sleeping” lions.  If the spot a lion move, they have caught the lion and has persuaded the lion to help him find other awake lions.  The captured lion is now a hunter who is seeking other awake lions.  

Hunters may not touch any lions when looking for movement.  Breathing and blinking do not count either.  Play until the lions get restless or you are down to only one sleeping lion.
