Overview
Progressive Tag is a tag game where the penalty for being tagged gets increasingly more difficult.
Objective
To be the last one standing
Rules
Mark a playing area for the kids to stay within during this game. Choose one player to be it and scatter the other players around the playing area.
The game begins just like any normal tag game, with a few exceptions. Whoever was chosen to be it at the beginning will be it for the entire round.
Once a player has been tagged they are not out of the game, but the game is made harder for them. The first time a kid is tagged, they must now play the rest of the round with one hand behind their back. If they get tagged again, now they must have both hands behind their back for the remainder of the round. A third tag results in both hands behind the back and the player must now also hop on one foot. A fourth tag has the player with both hands behind their back and must now walk on their knees. A fifth tag results in being out of the game.
It may not tag the same person consecutively. Once they tag a particular player, they must tag a different player before tagging the first player again.
