Christmas is one of the most wonderful times of the year. It can also be one of the most stressful, especially in ministry! Here are a few resources that will hopefully aid you in your work with children and families during the holiday season!
Grinchfast
This fun family event is centered around the movie The Grinch! Grinch Cakes, Max Roast Coffee, and Who Hash are just a few of the ideas in this guide! There are also some free printables you can use when hosting this event.
This guide includes a devotional script that can be used as is or as a starting point for your own devotion. The Grinch underwent a dramatic life change in the move, essentially turning from bad to good. Saul/Paul had a very similar experience in the book of Acts!

The Christas story is one of the most important stories to our faith. However, there are many aspects of this story that people often believe that may or may not be true! This activity has kids guess the amount of jingle bells in a box, while providing the teacher with opportunities to debunk some of the most common myths about this story!

Setting up the family Christmas tree is a great time to tell the Christmas story! This guide helps parents use the different stages of putting up the tree as object lessons pertaining to Jesus' birth.
We have also provided a free downloadable guide for you to use in your ministry. Simply print it, fold it, and make it available to your parents! We have even used it in a classroom setting!
Christmas Music
I love Christmas time, but sometimes I get a little tired of the "typical" songs played on the radio. So here is a playlist of some fun Christmas songs to add a little variety.
A quick note: Streaming music or videos in a church setting is against the terms of service of the streaming websites. This includes sites such as; Spotify, Youtube, Apple Music, Google Music, etc. It is also unfair to the artists who worked hard on creating the content. If you find a song or two from this list you like, then purchase them from whatever service you like and then play them in your church settings!

We have made an alternative version of the classical Hangman game. This game can be played as a classroom game or as a 2 player game. We have included a free printable as well for you to print out and use in your ministry!
