Mark a playing area for the kids to stay within during this game. Choose one player to be the mosquito and hand her a pool noodle that has been cut in half. Scatter the remaining players across the playing area.

The Mosquito must keep the pool noodle on their forehead and attempt to tag other players with the other end. If one end of the noodle is not touching the mosquito’s forehead then the tag does not count.

Once the game begins The Mosquito attempts to tag other players, once another player has been legally tagged or bitten by the Mosquito they are frozen and can not move.

Other players can come and unfreeze any bitten player by “applying after bite spray”. To apply the treatment, a player who is not frozen must run around the frozen player making a spraying noise (shhhhhhhhhh). Once the bitten player has the spray applied, they are unfrozen and may return to the game as a normal player.
