Overview
The Zone is a tag game that allows kids to choose when and how they will attempt to cross the danger zone which will become increasingly difficult to cross safely.

Rules
Before the game begins, mark off a playing area. Mark an area in the middle and designate it as “The Zone”. This area can be as big or as small as you would like, just remember that there needs to be room for multiple children inside "The Zone".
Rules
Choose one player to be it. It will begin the game inside the zone and can not leave the zone during this round.
All other players will begin in the safe area on either side of the zone. Once the game begins, these players will attempt to cross the danger zone to get to the other side. If they make it across without being tagged by It, then they are safe. If they were tagged by It, then they become an additional “It” and must also stay inside the zone for the remainder of the game. Their goal has now shifted to tagging others instead of avoiding being tagged.
Players can choose when and how often they want to attempt to cross the zone.
Play until there is one player left or the zone is too crowded for the game to be played safely.
