Once the game has begun kids will try to tag each other without being tagged themselves.

If one kid tags another first, then the person who got tagged first must sit down, while the other kid can continue playing.

Example: If Billy tags Susan first then Susan must sit down and Billy can continue to play. If Susan tags Billy first, then Billy must sit down and Susan can continue to play.

If two kids tag at the same time, then both kids must sit down and are out of this round.

Have kids spread out over playing area and give a countdown to begin. Play until either there is only one child left standing, or it is obvious that the final two or three will not tag each other in a reasonable amount of time.
